Seeking Volunteers to Help Wash Cars this Sunday May 5

This Spring and Summer, Blind Beginnings is planning to hold one Car Wash & Hot Dog Sale Fundraiser each month.  Funds raised will go directly to programs for children and youth who are blind or visually impaired and their families.  Following are the details of our first Car Wash of the 2013 Season!

When: Sunday May 5th (Weather permitting – will be cancelled if it is raining)

Time: 11:30 am – 5:00 pm

Where:  Unit #10 – 7533 135th St. - behind Costco in Surrey

Why: To raise money for Blind Beginnings programs, and awareness of the capabilities of people who are blind or visually impaired.

What we need:

- Volunteers to help wash cars, attract business off the street, sell hot dogs and drinks, and/or be able to talk to customers about Blind Beginnings

- Lots of Customers

If you are able to help us out on Sunday May 5th, please contact Shawn at: no later than Friday May 3rd.

We are hoping for a good representation of children and youth who are blind or visually impaired.  Don’t worry if you have never washed a car before, we will teach you.

If you aren't able to come out and help, please come by with your cars or tell all your friends and family to bring their cars

Thanks very much for your support.  We look forward to spending the day with you on Sunday!
