Community Discovery in the Okanagan to Planet Bee

Blind Beginnings families from the Okanagan region are invited to a Community Discovery outing to Planet Bee on October 5!

What: A guided hands-on experience of Planet Bee, including: honey tasting, learning about the life of a honeybee during a 20-30 minute presentation from the staff.

When: Saturday October 5th, 2019

Time: 12:45 p.m.

Where: 5011 Bella Vista Road Vernon, BC.
*Meet up with Jessica outside the doors into where the magic happens, between 12:30 and 12:45.

Note: Free parking in the parking lot on the property.

Who: Children who are blind or partially sighted and their parents and siblings

Why: To learn about the amazing world of honeybees, sample their selection of unpasteurized honeys from around the world, experience the sweetest part of the business, and to connect with other families who are raising a child who is blind or partially sighted.

A light snack, juice boxes and gluten-free granola bars, will be provided.
