Community Discovery outings in the Okanagan in 2020!

What: The first one of 2020 will be on Saturday, January 25th. We will be going to  5-pin bowling! There will be some options for modifications such as using a bar to get a straight shot and a ball ramp for anyone who needs it. Come out for some good times at the lanes and an opportunity to connect with other families.

This Community Discovery outing is organized and led by Jessica Rideout, a Blind Beginnings youth leader who lives in Kelowna. Jessica will be there to bowl with you, organize the logistics, and possibly provide some snacks!

To RSVP, please email Jessica at and include how many members of your family will be joining you and the best phone number to get a hold of you the day of, if needed. The deadline to RSVP is January 20th. If a couple of families show up last minute, that is completely fine!

We are looking forward to hosting regular Community Discovery events in the Okanagan throughout 2020. If you have any brilliant ideas for places you’d like to go or things you’d like to do, we are open to suggestions. Please e-mail your ideas to Jessica.

Looking forward to seeing your family at the lanes!
