Mark your calendar in January 2020 for our first Community Discovery to Grouse Mountain to try skiing!
What: Come join us on Saturday, January 25 for some downhill skiing with Vancouver Adaptive Snow Sports (VASS). The day will start with a gondola ride up Grouse Mountain, followed by a two hour intro to skiing session and a group hot chocolate in the ski lodge. Families are welcome to stick around after the event to explore other Grouse Mountain attractions including an outdoor skating rink, hiking trails and a sleigh ride if there is enough snow. Don’t miss this opportunity to try something new and exciting for the year 2020!

Time: 11:45 AM -2:45 PM
Where: 6400 Nancy Greene Way, North Vancouver, BC V7R 4K9
We will be meeting as a group at the base of Grouse Mountain near the gondola ticket area at 11:45 AM. Carrie and/or Shawn will be there to meet you. If you would like to meet with a group travelling on transit, please let us know.
Who: Children and youth who are blind or partially sighted and their families
If you would like to attend, please confirm your attendance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Wednesday January 8.
* Please let us know how many people are coming, and the names and ages of your children. Please also let us know which members of your family would like to try skiing and whether you would need ski rentals*
