Parents are invited to a workshop to gather around a common topic that may be relevant to their experience raising a child who is blind or partially sighted. Parents are welcomed to meet other parents who are also raising a child with a visual impairment and to establish a network of support, once a month. Workshop topics have been included in the past are 'What is the role of a Teacher of the Visually Impaired?', 'Independent Living Skills in the early years' or 'Preparing your child for Kindergarten'.
