Give Now Campaign 2018

Give Now 2018 - Matching Campaign

Our 10th Anniversary Year was a great success—thanks to you!

2018 has been a remarkable year for Blind Beginnings. With your support we offered educational and experiential workshops, pre-employment training, summer camps and recreational activities to help British Columbia’s blind and partially sighted children and youth develop the skills, confidence and independence necessary to live a life without limits.

Read our 2018 Year in Review to learn all about how your support made a difference for children and youth who are blind or partially sighted in 2018.

Double the impact of your donation

As we enter the holiday season, please help us by making a donation to support our programs in 2019.  A donor who wishes to remain anonymous has agreed to match every dollar donated during the month of December up to a total of $15,000. That’s right! If Blind Beginnings receives $15,000 in  during this holiday appeal, that amount will be doubled—generating a total $30,000 to maintain and expand our programs in 2019.

As a special thank you, everyone who donates $150 or more will receive a special gift hand-made by our youth leaders. This can be a one-time donation or monthly donations totaling $150 annually.  Our youth have created beaded butterflies key chains which represent Blind Beginnings logo. The butterfly symbolizes our vision of a world where seeing things differently inspires limitless possibilities.

It’s easy to give. You will qualify for an charitable donation tax receipt for this year if we receive your donation by December 31.

Thank you for helping children who are blind or partially-sighted  live a life without limits.
