January Community Discovery – Aquarium Wet Lab

A pair of female hands cup a pool of ocean water into their hands, with an orange sea-star resting in it.We are kicking off our 2019 Community Discovery Outings with a behind-the-scenes Wet Lab experience at the Vancouver Aquarium! Participants will get to handle live animals that live in BC waters, organized by local habitat and ecosystem and will learn about a variety of local marine ecosystems.

Here’s what the Vancouver Aquarium has to say about their Wet Lab program:

Our Wet Lab programs are a great way to engage your group, inspire curiosity and instill a sense of respect for all ocean life and its environment.

Following the 1-hour interactive Wet Lab, we can check out some of the shows such as the Sea Lion Training or Meet-A-Parrot, and anything else the Vancouver Aquarium has to offer. It should be a fun day of ocean exploration!
