Parents of children who are blind, partially sighted, or deafblind are invited to attend our upcoming workshop:

How can your blind or partially sighted child help out around the house!

                                                  Wednesday, April 19th 2017

7:00 PM to 9:00 PM

227 6th Street in New Westminster

Learn from a young adult who is blind from birth and an Independent Living Specialist how and when to teach your child to help with household chores.

You will have a chance to practice some familiar tasks under blindfold and ask questions to experts with first-hand knowledge and experience.

Note: If you can’t join in person, you are welcome to call in.

Bring your questions and meet other parents who are raising a child who is blind, partially sighted, or deafblind. A great opportunity to create a support network and share your strategies.

We look forward to seeing you soon.

If you would like to attend, please RSVP no later than Friday April 14th to either:

Shawn Marsolais at 604-434-7243, shawn@blindbeginnings.ca

Theresa Tancock at 604-528-6170, theresa@cdbabc.ca

Please let us know if you will need to call in or if you plan to attend in person.
