Seeing Things Differently Youth Support Group
You have a visual impairment so, in many ways, your day-to -day experience differs from that of a sighted person. On top of the typical stresses of being a teenager, you have the added challenge of learning to do things differently in an often inaccessible world.
In your daily life, you are likely not surrounded by other people who are blind or partially sighted. As a result, you are both an ambassador for blindness to the sighted world, and the only one doing things in a different way at school, at work, or in your family.
Join us for the Seeing Things Differently Youth Support Group from July to December. Come connect with other youth who are blind or partially sighted and share your experiences, ideas and concerns that are likely less common amongst your sighted friends, all in a safe and comfortable setting.
